Random House is republishing the first 4 Trixie Belden books in June 2003. Trixie was a teenage girl detective, but infinitely better than Nancy Drew. The first one was written in the 40s, and the last one in the 80s. They are going to have new cover illustrations, but the original Mary Stevens illustrations inside.

Really?!?! I have most of the series in hardback, (passed on to me by my aunt,) but they're hardly in good enough condition to read anymore.

I hated Nancy Drew as a little kid. In my opinion, Trixie Beldon was way more interesting, not to mention realistic.
