I recently finished "Wizard and Glass", so I finally also know the story about Roland. Since we all know that "The Dark Tower" is the center of King's whole work, we are all used to allusions and hints pointing to the saga (like "Insomnia" or "Hearts in Atlantis", for example), or the way other of his books get involved (like the connection between "Wizard and Glass" and "The Stand", which is the most obvious one I've ever come across). Now I saw the line "the voice of the Turtle" somewhere in "Wizard and Glass" (remember, the Turtle is one of the guardians), and it made me think of "It", of course. So now I wonder if the Turtle in "It" is the same creature as the one in the Dark Tower series. It might very well be, since everything is connected with the saga, and King never really explained what the Turtle in "it" really IS. So what do you think? Did Big Bill and Richie fly past one of the guardians of Midworld during their journey "into the black"?
