Oops.. forgot to mention the FT Banner idea! I like it. It will have to wait for the rugby world cup. I've got a heap of tickets to all the Brisbane games so I should get the opportunity. I'm sure it will confuse the locals.... "FT - what the hell is FT?"

I particularly like the '$3 dollars to the pound' one.

How do yoiu know what they're saying?? I can never work it out. There was one yesterday where they were having a bit of a 'duelling banjos' with another section of the crowd, would've loved to know what they were chanting to each other.

99 for 5! They're dropping like flies! Why couldn't they do this in the other tests when it mattered.

how often has Steve Waugh played on to his stumps like that? He seems to do it often.
And Bichel didn't get his 50 ... should've done a Waugh on the last ball yesterday!
And Hayden! Wasn't he a naughty boy? Bit of a temper after he got out yesterday ... no doubt it was a dodgy decision but, the same old argument, professional player blah blah blah.

Allow me one little gloat please - You were stuffed, beaten and outplayed !

But still - congrats to the Aussies on the Series win - England were (insert appropriate word) for the first four games.
I've no complaints on the final 4-1 result and at least we had one reasonable game (could have been a classic if Australia hadn't crumbled under the pressure ).
Now all we have to look forward to is some Mickey Mouse one dayers until England play Australia in the Final - now that could be interesting given the petulance of the Aussie players when facing defeat.

" " Speechless!

Flippin' 'eck! we won a test in Aus????

Mind you, good to see we were back to our downtrodden best against the Don Bradman XI a couple of days later.

The Waugh twins................... even with a combined age of 736, still a couple of bloody good cricketers eh?

Congrats to the Convicts

LOL

I really enjoyed watching that game ... good to see the English standin up to be counted.

Anyone see how Sri Lanka went against the Aus A team? All out for 65 and the games was all over within 3 1/2 hours ... they ende up playing a exibition match of 25 over each in the evening session.

VB one dayer - I take back the Mickey Mouse comment - I wish I could have been there for last night's(for me) game - It was a good days play for anyone who payed to go and see it.
To me any game that's still in the balance with 3 balls to go has to be a good game despite the fact that Wides won the game for the Aussies!!
