I know that Malizma who used to be with us, had other things to tend to...I miss her, as I came across the words to the Dan Fogleberg song. She was probably the only one I knew who had actually seen him in concert...
I have his record somewhere..but I came across the CD in a bin next to the cashier in a shop...had to have it.

I'm trying to think of another one, that uses nature in such a beautiful way, I'm hard pressed!

I love that one, Bruyere. Now you have me thinking about love songs that use nature this way. I will give it more thought and see if I can come up with anything.

Randy Travis had one several years ago about his love being deeper than the ocean, but I didn't think it was nearly as good as this one.

THe music is just as good as the lyrics.

I always loved this one~Not quite Fogelburg, but I loved the chorus....Stonebolt in the 70's (I think)...

It is pretty...what I'm thinking is it appeals to me because of all the elements of nature.

The Twelth of Never is another lovely song which compares love with nature. The recording I like best is the late, great Nat King Cole.

This one always makes me tear up, I don't know who wrote it, but Laura Cantrell sings it now, it's called "When the Roses Bloom Again":
