I don't know how many of you are aware of this but the second world cup for the blind (cricket) is currently going on at Chennai.

England won their match against India (hot favourites)yesterday; the amazing fact being a totally blind player Mr Foy (B1 category) scoring a 152! wow
Today's matches pit England against Australia and a few other league matches.

Bloody brilliant.. and a credit to the world blind organisations for providing the admin to make such an event happen. I dip my hat to them and the players. Bravo

I second that also. We just don't see enough of this at all, and hardly ever see it on TV. I'd definitely sit through something like this.

To be honest, I was sad that no-one bothered about "cricket for the blind" - at least I am happy there are some well-wishers for the game. I think Pakistan won the cup.
This tournament was organised without the help of ICC and BCCI (the richest board in the world!) - and it was such a success!

Geez, I have trouble hitting a ball with full eyesite. It's inspiring to see these people play.
