Well done to all four of them. George95 will have his name enshrined like gtho4...go 15/16 and NOT get a Hall of Fame win. He is only the second person to do that in over 11 years.

Another to add to the near miss HoF: Dizart in week 14 of 2011 NFL season with magnificent picks of 15/16.
Well done sir!

a spoonless streak in Nascar might not be the same as a spoonless streak in a "normal tipping comp" .. Nascar is not included in perfect picks for that reason (we've had a few over the years, and left them out); so I'm not sure a spoonless streak should be included either. e.g. what are the odds are of picking 4/43 drivers, then excluding the 4th and only scoring for the first 3 across the line (aka as two bites at the cherry) vs. the odds of picking 8/8 in AFL or 15/15 in the NBA? I don't know the answer and, at first blush, it doesn't look like they're in the same ballpark. I'd say 15/15 is pretty tough...maybe 1 in 0.5 or 1M...ish. I'm not an accountant, but I am fairly good with numbers. It's up to you, but I still think 64 weeks is impressive in itself! A challenge is a challenge: To get 1-2-3 in Nascar, allowing for 4 drivers to be chosen and assuming that there are 43 drivers in the field with equal odds, and having the lowest driver be thrown out is 1 in 3085.25, or about 0.0324123% In F1, the odds based on a field of 24 drivers, are 1 in 2024, because you have less drivers, but not the fourth driver that can be thrown out. By comparison, getting 10/10 in the FAPL is 1 in 59049 Getting 15/15 in NHL or NFL or College Football, etc. is 1 in 32768 Getting 12/12 in the FLC is a whopping 1 in 531441! Getting 5/5 in the A-League is only 1 in 243 Sorting through the odds for tennis is a bit trickier, because there, the odds for every player are certainly not even. Getting a 0/8 there is much more "difficult" than in any other competition. You can obviously do it deliberately, but, if you're playing to win, it's pretty darned hard. Chosing 1-2-3 in a horse race with 24 horses and all horses having an equal chance to win, with 10 choices is 15 in 253, or around 5.92885% i.e. very doable. Getting a wooden spoon/HoF in any competition, the odds are the same because you're up against players who are picking choices with similar odds. So, the streak of spoonless weeks is all relative to the amount of competitors you have in the competition and not what the odds are for picking a perfect week.

Also, getting 14/15 the odds of that are 1 in 2184.53 The odds of getting 14/16 are 1 in 546.13 so, much easier (exactly four times easier) than getting one wrong out of 15, even though you picked the same amount of correct guesses.

*** N-Bomb is the BIG news of 2011. He had his first appearance on the medals table in 2010 with one 3rd place finish. He was No. 1 in the standings for the last 3 years running but failed to win a single comp all year long *** 23 people finished on the podium in 2011 as against 27 in 2010. The FunTrivia HoF has been updated for these medals and records. A special mention for Dizart who's yet to appear on the podium but makes his 2nd entry into the Record Book, and for dutchy50 who makes his first ever appearance on the podium! - NFL : dg_dave : the first NFL tipping comp was in 2000. The first 11 comps produced 11 different winners .. the 12th comp saw the first repeat winner! (his previous win was in 2007)
- the NCAA March Madness is the last man standing. It has been running for 10 years and has produced 10 different winners; and will probably produced an 11th this year as this comp is pure unadulterated madness. We lodge all our picks at the start; there are four streams producing a final four, and we have a choice of four #1 seeds!
- Super Bowl: Sypher : the first Super Bowl comp was in 2003. The 2012 comp was the 9th running of this comp (not run in 2004). Sypher was the first person to win this twice (he won the first comp plus 2009); which is still a record. This year he becomes the first to win this three times! (i.e no-one else has won this twice, or three times)
- the field of 23 runners in the Super Bowl comp is an all-time record. The previous best was 20 runners in 2005 and 20 runners last year.
- the field of 13 runners in the two Australian Open tennis comps is an all-time record for both comps. The previous best was 11 runners (equalled many times).

I'd have to agree since both had seven correct tips and also scored 33 points.
