I'm not one to give attention to myself, but it appears I have a spoonless streak of 48 weeks ongoing in College Football. That's 3 full seasons, since I started participating in that comp.

If you notice one, even if it is your own, please speak up on it! We as organizers will miss one.

edit to add: including one of my own in the same comp! I'm only 10 weeks behind you, at 41; you are at 51 (3x17). (No spoons week 11-17 of 2011, none in 2012, and none in 2013).

Still got the NHL one going strong....:) I haven't had a wooden spoon since 2011 and it's still ongoing at 62 rounds....

Given the spirit of the conversation then, I've gone 45 spoonless in NBA currently and I think I'm safe this week as well

I've been lax in my posting of the NHL updates this month, I'm 2 behind, but I think you can lock Sypher's 62 in as a final number of spoonless weeks, ending on Week 18 of the 2014 season. Great run Sypher.

err....do I have any spoonless run going? NHL maybe?

edited to add: counted my NHL run...it is 46 and counting...17 of this year, 26 of last season..and 3 the season before that... last spoon was in round 23 of the 2011-12 season

I also noticed I had 15/16 in week 12 of the 2010 NFL comp (I was reminiscing, sue me) but that isn't in the near-misses.

Most comps running at the same time months and year which were bedlam; usually coincided with March Madness.

yea, I was looking at that last night. We haven't broken the record. Although there are 20 coloured-in across the top, there are only 19 running simultaneosuly .. MM is over when the the Grand National starts.


I think Mar 09 maybe wrong as it has MM and the GN in the list, which is not possible (s/be 18 at once)

Not this year...the Grand National is April 5, and March Madness ends April 7.

At any rate the Masters won't start until the 10th
