- the defending titleholder was ElfTwinkle, who has now won 3 of the 5 college bowl comps.

Can we add a place for the most HoF winners in a particular week? We had 10/14 HoF'ers for week 26 of FAPL!

It's without doubt a record; but here's the deal: Find the 2nd and 3rd greatest in all comps way back to Feb 2000 (by percetnage of players or by number), and I'll add it to the Record Book! HoF wil be updated shortly. dg_dave has IDed all the weeks in which there were 10 or more weekly winners! The record book has been amended to include this statistic.

This month's medals ceremony: Soccer : A-League - the tipping comp was won by Howie72, followed by gtho4, and ASA in 3rd place.
- Nannanut (3-3 weekly wins vs. wooden spoons) dead-heated with ASA (6-6) but lost the bronze medal on a countback, as ASA had more weekly wins. They'd split the medal if they ww/ws countback was identical.
- the defending titleholder was Blinkybill, and Nannnut was last year's silver medallist.
Australian Open : Men's Singles - the tipping comp was won by KrivoyRog, followed by ozzz2002 and Howie72.
- the defending titleholder was gtho4, and last year's silver medallist is this year's silver medallist : ozzz2002.
- this is the third appearance on the podium for Krivoy Rog, and his first gold medal! The previous two medals were both bronze.
Australian Open : Women's Singles - the tipping comp was won by gtho4, followed by Sarah606 and LeoDaVinci.
- the defending titleholder was ElfTwinkle .. and last year's bronze medallist is this year's bronze medallist : LeoDaVinci.
- for Sarah606 this is her 8th podium finish; she's still looking for her first gold medal. The previous 7 were sliver x6 and one bronze.
NFL Play-Offs : Super Bowl - the tipping comp was won by LeoDaVinci, followed by buck5ley and doomed.
- the defending titleholder was gtho4.
- LeoDaVinci is the first to "do the double". He won the regular season NFL tipping comp, and the post-season comp!
A special mention for the comp organisers. Thank you from all the tipsters!

I believe you'll find them here , weeks five through eight. There's also a "Golden Wood", if this comp qualifies for such a beast

This month's medals ceremony: AFL Pre Sesason - the tipping comp was won by Sarah606, followed by doomed, and ElfTwinkle in 3rd place.
- for Sarah606 this is her 9th podium finish, and her first gold! The previous 8 were one bronze, and silver x7 !
- the defending titleholders were ASA and Nannanut (they dead-heated for 1st), and JuniorTheJaws was last year's bronze medallist.
- this was the first season a non-aussie won this comp!
- there were 13 entrants vs. 10 last year, and 9 the year before.
Ski Jumping - the tipping comp was won by spanishliz, followed by Nannanut and Howie72.
- for spanishliz, this was her debut appearance on the podium at the FT HoF!
- there's no defending title-holder, as this was the first year a ski jumping comp was held.
- there were 16 entrants in this comp. When spanishliz asked to run it (she had heaps of time to kill) she was expecting, maybe, half a dozen or so!
NCAA March Madness - the tipping comp was won by Howie72, followed by dg_dave and Nannanut.
- for dg_dave it's his 3rd podium finish. The previous two were a gold and a bronze; and a silver in this comp completes the set!
- the defending titleholder was Blinkybill; which makes it two straight for the southern hemisphere!
- this was the 6th running of the Madness comp (2002 to 2007). No one has retained their title, and no one has won it twice.
Record Book - consecutive spoons : ozzz2002 collected 4 straight wooden spoons in the Ski Jumping comp, weeks 5 to 8.
- perfect picks : doomed scored 540/540 in the Nascar comp (week 4), equivalent to 11/11.
- perfect picks: Howie72 also scored 540/540 in the Nascar comp (week 4).
- jillgeo5 and his 0/8 effort doesn't rate a mention as a Golden Wood .. has to 0/9 or higher!
- feeling overwhelmed? In the middle of March we had 18 competitons running at the same time.
- the previous record was 16 comps in April 05.
A special thank you to all the tipping comp organisers, from all the tipsters in here! have I missed anything?

ElfTwinkle has nailed two perfect in the Super League and in the week eight stats she was joined on her perfect score with a 0/6 by JaneMarple..which i know is not 0/9 but all the same.....she cant get better than 0/6
worthy of honourable mentions, as with jillgeo5 above, but no entry in the Record Book.
