Hi all!

My, my! I';ve been away for a bit and what lovely changes have been made and great features added!

Terry, I love the new daily quiz! Very fun! I'm not sure how you pick your questions, but a thought: Do you, or would you, send an e-mail to someone letting them know if one of their quiz questions have been chosen? I know I'd think it was cool if one of mine made it there! That might not be something you can program in the system then it would be way too time consuming, so I understand if it isn't feasible!

Thanks,
Scarlet

I was just wondering in all of your anti-cheating efforts have you disabled the right click mechanism on the Daily Quiz so that people cannot copy it , look up the answers then go back?

I've got this error after submitting my answers for Daily quiz:

Error: one of the question indices is incorrect. Oops.

What does that mean??

Hmm. It means it cant find one of your answers. Can you try taking the quiz again and see what happens this time?

Also what browser/version are you using?

Thanks

Now it just doesn't load the page at all. Also, I just noticed that there were only 19 questions appearing on the screen.

I am using IE 6.0

Ahh well that's what's causing it then. Hrmmm. Do you remember what your topic of the day was? Unfortunately the game has reset for the new day so Im unable to debug it now.

I just added the code to indicate in the answer section whether or not you got a question correct or incorrect.

Please take a look at this page and verify that what it's saying makes sense.

Thanks

Can we make a special section for jazz, involving only questions concerning Bosnian architecture, admiralty law, and David Schwimmer? Otherwise this thing is beginning to look like a runaway...

Doesn't jazz write our Bosnian architecture quizzes? How about making him answer questions on ski jumping and five-pin bowling?

My dear friends, my quizzes have been just as difficult as yours! For example, yesterday's quiz was a doozy...here's a sampling of the questions to prove it: What is the capital of the United States, as of 2002?, Which U.S. President, whose name rhymes with Fabraham Bincoln, led the country into civil war?, If I exclude the numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5, which whole number remains between 0 and 6? and What are those long, yellow fruits that Curious George likes to eat?

Can you say you have been so challenged?

I'm doubting all of the questions you have had were that easy, Jazz there is nothing wrong with being on top. I have been cheering you on since the beginning of the Daily quizzes.

Is this really a "daily" quiz? I think I am getting more than one new quiz every 24 hours.

At least I see today's topic is World, not Fun Trivia Mix!

I just got a fun trivia mix, but heavy on the history, I'm terrible with Vice Presidents too! I hang my head down in shame at not remembering all these guys!

THe overall question quality has improved too...

It is interesting that despite my dear colleague's preference for certain categories, the flotsam and the jetzam have been separated! Even with the monkey wrench in the works of Bosnian architecture...and I'm sorry, he probably knows more than anyone else about it here...and perhaps, whose baby Rachel is carrying and what Joey's duck is called, well, it all equals out.

Question, are questions phrased in a foreign language excluded? One of mine was in there yesterday but the question was posed in English and the answer in French.
Otherwise I'll start receiving hate mail! I vary my questions in languages so a question in a foreign language should probably be excluded.

I totally messed up on the "poodle on the horizon", Heather! But of course, at 6am, I totally messed up on almost all of them apparently! I'm going to just naievly continue trying everyday til I find a category at which I excel! It may take a very long time! It's FUN, anyway!

*Edit* Ok..just took the quiz now, at 1:30am that I would normally do tomorrow morning...geez...five hours from now! It didn't help much!

What exactly do you mean by that cris? A new quiz is created for you every night at midnight EST. You should not be able to play more than once a day...

I dunno about all the technical stuff. All I know is that I looked up "polymath" in the dictionary and found jazz' picture next to it.

Bosnian... wrestling????? That sounds good!!

I can't send my answers.... I rushed through them (probably getting most wrong ), but every time I try and submit them I get "This page cannot be displayed, try later"...aaagh I've been trying for ages, but no luck....I was doing quite well too! hey ho

Well, this message seemed to post without any problem, but it still says it can't find the server to post my quiz answers and I've got "Time is ticking, go, go, go go" in red at the top of the screen....this could be the longest time anyone has taken (and still got them all wrong )

I've got a question, but it's Murphy's law, whenever I sit down and take the quiz, one of my kids will call me for something! It's quite unnerving...I mean, my timing is way off...I think I'll wait till they're at school next time...
