Well, I don't like the GREEEN which screams at you for new posts - hard to read.
But it does seem faster!

Well all I gotta say is Egad! I have desert, and it is different shades of brown now than it was before. I get the green print when I move my cursor over the row headings: Main Index, Search, Login, etc. It also appears that today's threads are all green! ick.

Russ - we didn't know anymore than you did. And what good would PMing people do? They wouldn't be able to retrieve them as the upgrade happened.

Good thought. I noticed that, too. I have switched to InfoPop now, and even the first few threads are a darker gray than the rest of the threads.

I've found that if you change the date setting to "from all dates", the scrapbook and the like are "pinned" at the top of the forums. The only reason I didn't see it before is because I usually have my date setting on "active in the last 2 days", and it doesn't come up then. It's not a big thing, just a thing, really....

Terry - now that you've gotten rid of the highlighting... Maybe I'm dense, but how can we tell which threads have new posts besides looking at the time each had their last post?

I love the feature on the main index showing who has the last post in each forum and what thread it is in. I have wished for that for a long time. It will save alot of time for me. Thanks for the upgrade!

I like the changes I think? It will take a few days to get use to them. Some day I will come in here and I will be in heaven as you will have changed everything to Purple just for me! LOL LOL! Couple things. I notice that you can see locations of people again. It does seem to be a little faster loading long threads. Is there any other differences or advantages this version has? Drink 6 for me....

This version of Infopop allows the date format to be change from 1/15/03 12:28am to Wed Jan 15 2003 12:28 AM. It gives this site an "international flavour". However, having done that, there is no room to show the full date a member reg'd in the box on the left, so the system truncates the date (and I can't find a toggle to reduce the font size). To see the date a member reg'd you need to click on their name and view their profile. If enough members find it a nuisance, the deafult date format 1/15/03 may be reinstaed.
