Hello. When you boil eggs, how do you get the yolk to be centred? That is one thing I can't seem to do.
Thanks

Seeing that the yolk seems to always at to end up near the rounded end, you could try boiling it inside a tube that would keep the pointy end downmost. The yolk might then respond to gravity and end up more in the middle. Well it's a theory anyway!

I'm not sure if this is right, but I heard that you have to spin the chicken around in a centrifuge 5 minutes before it lays

Wouldn't you end up with scrambled eggs that way?

I notice you're in the antipodes there, could it have anything to do with that water going down the sink thing?

No but seriously, have you tried that household thing of putting a spoon in the pot to avoiding them cracking? Wonder if it has any effect on the placement of the yolk?
IN any case it's handy for an egg in a spoon race afterwards.

I will try that bruyere, thanks.

Bertho I can't picture me running after a chicken and then swinging it around lol. But my kids would love to see me do that.
