DRC is going through a civil war and rebel forces aren't only robbing, raping, and slaughtering Pygmies, but UN investigators estimate that the forces have eaten at least a dozen members of this minority group.

Some Pygmies say that they were also forced to eat human flesh.

It is believed that cannibalism is being used to instill fear as well as a belief that eating the flesh of others is a source of power.
