Remember when you could read the sleeve notes without the use of the Hubble telescope on your old vinyl records(cd manufacturers take note) well on the actual record in some cases(lps and singles) on the runout groove by the label there is a message (by the band or artist) or someones name( i think its the vinyl cutting engineers name) i wondered if anyone had some good or clever messages on their old vinyl.

Haven't found any messages so far but will keep on looking.
I think the covers contain hidden messages but that's another ball game!

I remember those tryst, I'll have to search through my vinyl collection this week and see if I can find some!

I also remember being able to read the sleeve notes without a magnifying glass, sometimes I hate CD's.

Check Hendrix and John Lennon LPs for hidden messages in the grooves. Neil Young albums might contain them too. Artists that had messages in their songs seemed to have messages etched in the vinyl. I can't recall any clever messages right now, most of them seemed to be greetings to fans or loved ones.

I'm pretty sure if you play an Eddie Money record backwards, he thanks Satan for giving him a career.
