All I can say is If Elvis were alive today, he would have soundly choked the living daylights out of his daughter. What was she thinking? And why the hell does that man have custody of those children? It pisses me off to no end that epople with money can be as freaky as they want and not be ostracidsed about it. I have to stop now, this subject makes me very angry. By the way, does anyone else wonder what Machauly Culkin sees in the man?

I would have thought that Elvis would just be mightily relieved that his daughter didn't have any children by Jacko!

I am sure this will get some interesting replies but here goes... I do not think Michael Jackson is a pedophile. The fact that he would so easily share the information that he sometimes sleeps in the same bedroom as a kid and the fact that he does not understand why other people cringe at the thought makes me think that it has to be totally innocent. The kids want to stay with him and I am guessing why... did they show his bedroom in the documentary? It is probably the coolest room in the house and Michael is a great friend, I understand why a kid would want to sleep in his room. I think we should all think of Michael as a child. I mean really, he needs serious therapy and his face is a horrible disaster but a child molestor? Would we jump to these conclusions so quickly if there hadn't been the accusation in 1993. He paid the kids parents so the problem would go away. Why not, he has tons of money. He wants to be a child, he never got to be a child. Everything about him screams out that he is trying to recreate the perfect childhood. The warm milk and cookies, the toys, the freakin' amusement park... The thing I got from the show is that he is sad, lonely, hurt and very childlike. Water balloon fights and climbing trees. He has a point though. Why not? He has tons of free time and tons of money. He isn't in touch with his inner child, he IS his inner child. And I don't think he is sexual at all. Period. Nada. It is possible for a person to not think about sex and not want to have sex. I did catch that lie about Blanket's mother. He also lied about his dad's eye color and how much money he is worth. I don't know. I just think we shouldn't automatically assume he is molesting children. That's all.

I don't necessarily think he is a molester either but the way that he thinks there is nothing wrong with having young children in his bed is just ridiculous. I wouldn't allow my child sleep in any one else's bed other than mine, especially in a house that I am not in myself. Geez, I don't think I'd let my child go and visit an adult alone, fullstop. (as in not having children that they were visiting)

And if I had as much money as MJ has I'm not sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag for anyone else to sleep in my bed!

I'm surprised (not!) at Michael's reaction today! He feels "personally betrayed" by the documentary? It's not like they were sneaking up on him and catching him in ugly and awkward situations and stringing them all together to make a derogatory piece! He sat there and faced the camera, spoke directly to an interviewer time after time, over several months, and was very much a participant in what evolved. Gad Zooks! Tough, Michael! No sympathy here!

In response to the current Michael Jackson mania, on Monday night NBC aired 2 hours devoted to Jackson, and, at the same time, ABC aired 3 hours on the same subject (including a re-broadcast of the documentary). Both programs speculated on the degree of plastic surgery he has had done, whether or not he is a sex offender, etc. Fox has it's own show scheduled which apparently includes Jackson's rebuttal to the things that people have been saying about him.

Is Michael Jackson worth all this airtime and public attention? Is he worthy of 5 hours of prime-time network programing in a single night?

What is going on with this MJ frenzy?

I was wondering the same thing - I'm getting pretty tired of having hours and hours of Michael Jackson specials every night. Or, so it seems, anyway. I don't get the sudden facination with the guy.

The guy is so sick. Can't any of his "friends" or family get him some kind of help or even recognize the extent of his mental illness? You would think that the doctors treating him would try to do something (although, they're making a hefty profit out of him, so it's to their benefit to be quiet and do what he wants). I'm just baffled that anyone could do what he's done to his body. And, even more baffled that no one around him seems to care enough about him to get his some help.

That morphing thing was freaky. And, that alone should signal the degree to which he's sunk.

This whole Michael Jackson thing is making me sick. I preferred to watch "24" last night instead. Jacko is beginning to remind me of another obsessed pop star. Elivs Presley, who thought that using prescription drugs was ok, that it didn't make him a junkie because a doctor gave him his stuff. None of Elvis' "Memphis Mafia" members could say NO to him either without risking expellsion from Graceland and the tight circle of the "TCB" (Taking Care of Business) boys.

This is all very sad. I can't imagine how Jacko's children will turn out. How stable do you think Lisa Marie Presley really is?

Since I did not see either program last night what did the "mother" of Jacko's children have to say?

I actually didn't watch any of the Jackson coverage, past the first one. I just don't care. I did suspect, however, when Fox aired the promo for the "rebuttal" tape, that they were probably in cahoots from the very beginning...Fox and Jackson, I mean. The ad said that Jackson had his OWN cameras rolling during the period of the first video, and that reporter fella was in the footage they showed! I mean...he must have known something was going on. Geez. Just my suspicions, you understand.

In my opinion, all Michael Jackson is is a famous pedophile.
