1. When Dixie Dean scored 7 goals in the last two games of the 1927-28 season, to make it 60 goals for the season, he established a new record for the First Division. Whose record did he break?

2. Did he play in all 42 of Everton's games?

#1 George Camsell of Middlesborough.

I'll leave #2 for someone else. I've just bought FIFA 2003 for the XBOX and I'm busily trying to find the button on the gamepad that lets Lee Bowyer stamp on heads?

Nope, he only played in 39 games. All the info you need is here

Phew! That took a while finding!

#2 is right, #1 isn't.
Camsell set, and still holds, the record for Division Two. The question is looking for the previous holder of the First Division record.
