Sorry, Alannis Morrissette..I've forgotten a few things, it doesn't look right...I just don't get it, and if I were a guy, I'd stay clear of her! You'd end up in a song.
I find things to like about just about anything, even...eminem, if Dido's in the background, but not this woman..

I like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, destiny's child, a lot of the teeny bopper things I can stand but not Morissette...not sure why.

Teen bands. Every one of them, exploiting young people, and earling money for nothing.

Nah, they're too busy doing all those somersaults and backflips to mind girls!

I know another one, but I do listen to some of them...Offspring!
I hated their voices, yet I find them kinda raw and funny sometimes.

I'm sorry. I'll have to differ with you on Celine Dion, she drives me nuts !!!!!! Mariah's music has been very disappointing of late but tolerable. I'll be honest, the one person who really gets to me is Marilyn Manson. Not that he is controversial, more that he thinks he's original but so many before him have been there and done that.... I cite Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, and Kiss as examples. I am also not too impressed with Eminem.

Even though Celine Dion is a singer from here, Quebec, I just can't stand any of her songs. However, it's more like older people would listen to her music. All rap bands and singers gets on my nerves too, as for pop like Britney Spears and the like.

Ok, I'm a teenager and proud to say I don't listen to any teeny bopper music. Classic rock is the best. Anyway Britney Spears is the worst of them all. What's with her making all the 7 year olds dressing like hoes?

The only kind of music that drives me up the wall is music repeated over & over & over & over & over again on the radio.
Even if it's a tune I like, it drives me nuts hearing it so often on the radio. US radio (not sure about other countries) has such a tight playlist anymore that I don't see how people are able to listen to the same station several hours each day without losing their mind (could this...explain...me?).

My workplace plays the same top 40/ "adult contemporary" station 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week. I loved Avril Lavigne when she first hit the airwaves but now...Is the music biz nowadays
so "Complicated" that they can't broaden the playlists or maybe corruption & payola are the right words I'm looking for, hmmm?

Don't worry, here in France it's the same, and I listen to that with the kids...Avril is gaining on Morrissette now..in my ears.
"Why does everything have to be so complicated?"
Ever noticed the first time you hear a song? I mean, it's rare to hear a song for the first time!
Or if you listen to a popular station and they put on a song from a year ago? It's weird!

I notice some statations around here will play songs from a year ago- and play them again in heavy rotation- at almost the exact the same time of year that the songs originally were released. Why must they drive us up the wall a second time? With thousands of songs to choose from, why is it radio programmers can only come up with 25-40 different tunes to broadcast?! Madness!

Lately, I listen to the radio with the kids, until I hear someone I recognize and I yell out, "is that melts in your mouth not your hands again? I've had it! This is my car..and my stations.."
