It's a great effort by the Kenyan cricket team to make the super 6's of the World Cup. Even though New Zealand's forfeit against them helped their cause, they have produced some good wins against Sri Lanka, Canada and Bangladesh, and they might even beat the West Indies as well.

Kenya are playing good cricket at present, and are capable of causing an upset win or two in the Super 6's.

And good for them. I saw the game versus Sri Lanka and they have some terrific players who performed above themselves. Infact all non-sanctioned test playing countries participating in the cup can hold their heads up high. They have all performed above themselves and will be much better for the experience. Even England nearly got an upset against the Aussies

Just as well England didn't win, otherwise a beatable opponent for Kenya wouldn't have made it to the Super 6's. This opponent I'm referring to is Zimbabwe.

For anyone interested, the top three in both groups finished in the following way, in order of points and net run rate:
Group A - Australia, India, Zimbabwe.
Group B - Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Kenya.

It's possible for Kenya to make the semi-finals, if they only cause one upset win in the Super 6's, since they carry 10 points forward from their preliminary matches. If it were to happen, it will most likely be against Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, they're not much of a chance against India, and probably no chance at all against Australia.

Even though I'm Australian, I can't resist the urge to say the following. Go Kenya!

Sensational win by the Kenyans against Zimbabwe. An Australia vs Kenya final is starting to look like a real possibility.

As I've become a cricket afficianado at a late age, I did have to say I was touched by the Kenya captain on the BBC broadcast, sounded just overjoyed. You cannot help but be happy for a team like that. Well, then I'm not biased either!
I'm going to have to go have a look at the tipping now...to see what to do...
