The Series of Unfortunate Events rules!! Anyone want to chat about it?

I'm addicted to the series as well when I was given them as a gift Xmas 2001. Its just unfortunate they aren't published as fast as i read them. Despite the brevity of the books, I'm looking forward to finding out the conclusion of VFW, hoping they find the other set of twins, a parent and bustin Count Olaf. Have you read "Artemis Fowl"? If you like this series you might enjoy "Artemis".

I've read both The Bad Beginning and The Reptile Room. I thought the first book was funniest. The second book is good as well.

I love the "A Series of Unforunate Events" books! I have read 1-8 each 3 times and #9 2 times. I have never read them in order (i.e. 1,2,3,4) but I have read them backwards and skipped around alot. I think the first one I ever read was "The Reptile Room" then "The Vile Village" and so on...I believe I was responsible for getting my school into these books. I was the first to read all 8 (This was last year) and then #9 (This year.)

I've read each book 4+ times. I finished books 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the same day...I was reading for what, the whole day.

The Series of Unfortunate Events is totally mondo-coolio and funny. I've read all the books except "The Ersatz Elevator". Every time I want to check it out from the library, someone's already checked it out. Man! Is Lemony Snicket going to continue the series? I want to know what happens after the orphans are separated.

I'm way out of the target age range for these books, but I love them. I've read all but The Carnivorous Carnival. They're pretty good light reading material.

VERY light reading to me, even though I'm 11. I usually read at least 2 books that size in a day. I read HP #4 in a day. I was sick then, and I read from around 9:30 a.m. to what, 9:30 that night!
