In 1964, a freighter carrying 6000 sheep sinks in Kuwait's harbor—threatening to poison the country's water supply. The ship has to be raised… but how?

Then Danish engineer Karl Kroyer remembers a comic book he read as a boy where Donald Duck had a similar problem with Uncle Scrooge's yacht.

Donald solved the problem by filling the yacht with ping pong balls, which floated the boat to the surface.

So Kroyer decides to copy the idea. He pumps millions of hollow pellets into the ship's hull. And it works!

But few knew the genius that came up with the solution… was a duck!
