Hey anyone else think that these two guys are they best on the planet. Their music is excellent and they're both gorgeous and charismatic. I think that something important should be done this April on the 29th. Do you know why?......
Love on ya!
PS does anyone know about David's world tour this year?

Although obviously an enormous talent, I doubt if Bowie would have been quite the artist he is today without the song shaping by this brilliant guitarist. Maybe David would still be writing songs like the Laughing Gnome and Rubber Band?

I once heard that Ronson 'invented' rock lead guitar. I don't think this is correct but I know his guitar sounds keep a few Bowie albums always at the top of my collection. He also had a flair for melodic lead that I believe has only been equaled by Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd.

As for Bowie, his skills as an artist are superhuman. There isn't too much in entertainment he doesn't excel at. He was the first to combine visuals in his performance and his wider vision in the late 1960's was what is now MTV. he always had the ability to stay a few years ahead of his audience. He also would create music that was quite left field, never interested in mainstream (until he needed the cash in the 80's) I could reel off the credits but I'll spare you.

Whats April 29 all about?

I do beleive it was actually April 30th, 1993 when Mick Ronson passed away. His last ever recording was with rock band, The Wildhearts too

You are so right everything you said i think is true. April 29th is the day Mick passed away ten years ago and although someone tells me it is April 30th i have always read April 29th (it says so in his bio)

I don't know who Mick Ronson is, but David Bowie is the best. What other man can you find that is willing and looks good in a dress?

You don't know who Ronno is. That's a shame. He was the guitarist for Ziggy Stardust in the 70's, he's done a couple of solo albums played again with Bowie in '83 and '93. He's done absolutely loads more stuff i tell you what you should do, get these albums - Slaughter On 10th Avenue and Play Don't Worry and buy his biography - The Spider With The Platinum Hair and you will be amazed!
