I recently received an email titled 'You've received an AOL Insta-Kiss' from a member I didn't know, so I thought I would do a little digging around to see if I could find some info on it before I opened/deleted it. As it turns out it is a scam to obtain your AOL username and password either by a password finding virus thing in an attachment or by hyperlink where you have to type in your password to get the so-called insta-kiss. When this is done your info is then sent on to the person who sent you the email giving them full access to you account. Whatever will they do next? If you want to read more about it look here

I also recieved the same email from members I didn't know and deleted them without opening them. Thanks for the heads
up, I was wondering what the emails were about. This seems similiar to a recent rash of phony ebay emails where people were trying to break into ebay accounts & steal credit card numbers. Always seems to be a scam awaiting in the email box!
