Like the majority, I love Cadbury chocolates... but I also love Milka chocolates, they are really good!
Speaking about chocolates, has anyone seen the movie "Chocolat"? (which is based on a novel by Joanne Harris)
It is a lovely movie, and there's a particular scene that I love, when Vianne (Juliette Binoche) prepares chicken and all sorts of food and everyone eats their meal with chocolate sauce, it's great! I know it sounds strange, but wouldn't it be nice to eat chicken and other things with chocolate sauce? Just for once at least. Everytime I watch that scene I can't help to think I would love to have that. Yummy! lol

All time favourite would have to be Mintola (Closest you can get now - After 8) but being a chocolate lover the ones left in the selection box that no one else want's to eat have to be the best They'll always be there when you want one.

I've heard that under EU regulations, British chocolate is officially classed as cheese.

Oh, you guys, no one likes Hershey Kisses?? I think, though, that I had the best chocolate when I went to Italy last year...they had chocolate from around the world. And I bought a BIG box of Ferro Rocher for about 16 euros! I practically ate the whole thing on the plane ride home. I also like Ghirardelli chocolates. All right, I'll admit it--I like Cadbury too....especially the eggs with the white and yellow gunk inside!! That was just for you, valois.

The best chocolate in the entire world is Godiva. Their chocolate tastes like a slice of Heaven that floated down to Earth!

Chocolate is all there is!! It's steak and potatoes, lobster and shrimp, ice cream and cake all rolled up into one! I only saw one mention of Dove, and none for Whitman's Sampler with the caramels and cremes all in one old fashioned looking box, nor for the Riesens. A little variety here is completely acceptable!!

Thanks for the welcome, Copago. I saw the Welcome Centre before, but I can't seem to locate it now. I've been lurking and poking about the forum. So far it's been a very pleasurable experience. I especially enjoy the smileys.

Unless I missed it somewhere, Ghirardelli Chocolate hasn't been mentioned. It is positively to die for. The Ghirardelli Co. in San Leandro, California was established in 1852.
Their chocolates are so smooth and wonderful. Dark is my favorite.

I know this is a very old thread but I need to make an amendment to my answer - I have just tried Godiva chocolate for the very first time so Cadbury's, sorry you are relegated to second place! Drools.
Now the weight is down, so is my blood sugar so I am back on ice cream and chocolates.

[ Timidly, here...] Copago, I hate to interject this, but that delicious white stuff isn't really chocolate. It's just delicious white stuff they call chocolate for advertising and marketing purposes...

Shhh, don't tell her that or she will hit you with one! Or she might if she could buy one in Australia, unless things have changed she couldn't obtain them locally and needed to have them shipped from here! When we met up in London we were clutching our White Toblerones for identificaiton purposes, she ate them all. Don't ask her what she did with the Marmite.

Oh. Really?
But that is a good thing, right? It means I DIDN'T eat a block of chocolate myself in a day?
