Today is St Georges day - Patron Saint of England.
Dragons slain by appointment.

Funny how we never seem to celebrate it much , not like the Irish and Welsh . Happy St George's day anyway, all the English!

Who was St George and did he slay a dragon? Perhaps this will throw a bit of light on the real St. George
