Is this place getting overrun with a bunch of law school grads or what? Look who's posted on this thread!

Coolup, maybe you will enjoy this lawyer related site. It just goes to show that lawyers are human, too!

Absolutely fantastic! Where did you find that?

My oldest friend in the practice works out of Denver now, and I am e-mailing him to find out if he knows this firm.

Did you read their 'disclaimer'?
Quote:

Due to circumstances beyond our control some documents on this website have not one funny word in the whole document. Worse than that, we have had to rely on our individual lawyers to supply us with their resumes and other biographical information. There is just no telling what kind of lies they may have put in those documents. Our firm is a small firm. We do not have the resources to try to track down every possible lie one of our lawyers may be telling. Just take all that stuff with a grain of salt.

We are a small firm but we mostly represent corporations, governmental organizations and non profit businesses due to the fact that they're the ones with the money. Sometimes we represent individuals but that's mostly divorce and family law stuff. After all, how many corporations are going to come walking into our office wanting a pre-nuptial agreement? What we're trying to say is, if you're an individual looking for a lawyer, unless you’ve got some kind of family problem, we're probably not your best bet since we're so busy trying to suck money out of these corporations, businesses and government organizations.

And especially if you're from New Jersey. We're not even licensed to practice in New Jersey. Matter of fact we're not licensed to practice much of anywhere, except Colorado, and we don't much want to go anywhere else anyway, what with airplanes being so crowded these days. And the food? We would not feed airplane food to our dogs let alone chow down on the stuff ourselves.

On the other hand, if you are an individual with a Colorado problem and a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket and you'd like nothing better than to waste it hiring a lawyer, please give us a call. We could probably see our way clear to work something out.

I found the site in a computer mag that I buy regularly- the editor has a sick sense of humour, just like me...

I am still giggling at that law firm site, I have now sent it to my daughter who will no doubt circulate it around the law department of her university and the Law Officers' department here.
