There are 20 categories on FunTrivia and I'm wandering which category is your favourite. In addition, you can give a reason why such as enjoyment, quality etc.

I like doing Animal quizzes though I only tend to do the Wild Mammals quizzes.

I like writing 'Entertainment by Themes' (Entertainment) though most of my quizzes there have a science fiction theme.

I like doing and writing LOTR quizzes though they are the ones I get the most corrections on. However I don't tend to like 'Movies' as a whole.

In 'Television' I do the sci-fi related quizzes and a handful of other shows I know.

I also like History, and Celebrities, World, geography if they are on a topic I am interested in.

I enjoy the Brain Teasers, Word Games and the like.

I also relish any quizzes on Australia (my country). I think I have played all the History, Geography, Sports, Music, Language etc, about the Land Down Under. I have also written a few Aussie ones in various categories.

I am not a big movie or TV watcher, so do not fare very well in those categories, and today's Music is all a mystery to me

I usually go through the Newest Quizzes list, and pick out anything that sounds interesting or fun, even if the topic is not in my areas of (supposed) expertise...

I love geography, particularly the 'where in the world quizzes,' they're great. History/war is also a favourite, and there's many many fine quizzes in this category as well.

Like Ozz, I can't do tv quizzes as I have no idea what Rachel spilt on her skirt in episode 237, and music, well, I still spell sk8er with an 'at' in the middle. Call me old fashioned

I play the newest quizzes aswell Ozzz. Why? Because if I want to be a Trivia Guru,

Bertho, it doesn't matter what you spell. But one thing for sure, I'd best sticking to "Skater" rather than "Sk8er".

For me , its a tough choice between Sports, sports and sports.
Though I do venture out into the realms of Mathematics, Brain Teasers, world.

To prop up my scores, I head to Indian geo and history.

I used to like sports, music and hobbies quizzes...but as I edit in those categories, I don't really play them anymore

Hello Ace. You do have good variety of your favourite categories. Good luck on the future quizzes you'll play.

To SG,
Isn't playing quizzes waiting to go online playing quizzes in a way?

Sorry I'm talking to two people at once. I've been told that I shouldn't post too much at a time.

It's okay Border, you can go on. Music and movies are a good choice, because there are over 4000 quizzes on both of the categories.

And For Children and Movies are a good choice Icea.

Yes Andy...thank goodness! Even though I know much about music and film, I really do enjoy the Brain Teasers. I'm not very good at the science or children's categories but I'll try almost anything once...maybe twice even, lol. I think people do a fantastic job in Quizzyland. The creators and the editors as well as the quiz takers who alert you to things you hadn't noticed. It takes a good deal of patience and effort on everyone's part to make it all click. It's a great team endeavor and I enjoy it immensely.

I take quizzes that catch my eye on Newest quizzes, so it doesn't really much matter to me about category--though there are categories I know absolutely nothing about. I played a quiz today on the board game Life, because it's one of my favorite games, I also enjoy taking quizzes made by familiar faces from the forums.

The most fun I ever had making quizzes, Andy, was a series of quizzes on the old Universal monster movies, and it's a lot of fun, too, making quizzes in the Agatha Christie category and in celebrity.

I like playing quizzes in Brain Teasers, Sci/Tech, and Geography, as well as the subcategories on the Bible and Christian music. I am unusual, because I am a teenager, and I know absolutely nothing about music, TV, celebrities, or popular culture.

True. One thing that´s embarrasing though, is that I tend to score 5/10 on quizzes which are "Very Easy".

  • Brain Teasers, especially the Wordwise and Wordplay areas;
  • General - the UK Specific subcategory;
  • Geography - UK and Western Europe;
  • History - mainly UK;
  • Humanities - English and Linguistics;
  • Literature;
  • Music - Classical and Opera;
  • World - Languages, especially French, German and Latin.

Hello Linda. Yes, celebrities and movies are an excellent mix.
*COOL FACT*: A universal monster quiz is number 1! Quiz made by SquiddyBoy.
