Yes, violence happens from time to time in English schools too. This story is about a 15 year old boy who stabbed another 15 year boy at school on Friday, the boy is critical condition in hospital. This is dreadful by any standard BUT I can't help feeling that if the boy had been in the US we just might be seeing another of those headlines about student killing a number of other students with a gun - in the UK he couldn't get hold of a gun.
