Just a correction about Picnic At Hanging Rock and some info. Bruyere was quite correct in stating that there is no "official"theme to this movie. After researching it I have discovered that the haunting panpipes track is only unofficially considered the theme track.Regarding Rogues lament that the soundtrack isn`t available I did find a site [just a yahoo search....soundtrack to picnic at hanging rock......,it was #2 ,it`s a german site,I can`t post links yet] that lists the single that is available and also the music used in the movie, maybe if the tracks were burnt onto a disk............

Stick me with those who love bagpipe music, I should love to be on a misty moor with the bagpipe music drifting though the mist. Wonderful.

I loved the bagpipe sound that the group Big Country had in their music. I'd love to hear more rock bands explore this sound.

My favourite group that uses bagpipes: Glengarry Bhoys! They're from Ontario/Quebec and do sort of the traditional and modern Scottish songs but they do it a bit more modern. (Plus the fiddler also step dances
