The way to entice people to vote isn't by screaming at them (which you are doing when you type on all caps).

This is an international site with members of different ages and various likes.

Perhaps not everyone knows enough about those in the poll to vote, or perhaps they just don't want to.

There are several reasons why members may not want to vote in this poll but throwing a tantrum isn't going to make anyone submit a vote any quicker.

etartherat, most of the regular contributors to this site are older than the target audience for the singers you've mentioned. Don't take it to heart that only a few have clicked on your poll, it's just that the weve never heard of them! Mention someone from the 50's to the 80's and then you've got a better chance.

I like all three singers though picking a favorite is difficult based solely on one cd released from each. I guess I'd give Avril the edge simply because I like her cd better but hey, ask this poll after each has released their sophomore record and I may change that vote.

I've heard of Vannesa Carlton, she's the daughter of a big brewery owner here in Oz and therefore very attractive. I tried to find the other two names in my Guitar Tablature database but they don't exist yet so I can't vote. I'm guessing guitar isn't a large feature in their music??

On a happy note though while I was searching for 'lavigne' I stumbled across a rather silly band name called 'Laughing Gravy' so I feel my time was put to good use

^_^ Avril Lavigne is a singer that does play guitar, the same with Michelle Branch. They don't have very many biographies, but I can assure you that they're 18-25. (Vanessa is 22.) Vanessa Carlton plays the piano, although I did see a gallery where there was a picture and she was playing the guitar. Vanessa does Classical (sort of) music, so she would be recommended (by me) to listen to out of the three if you are older.

I just wanna get this out of my system: I DON'T LIE! Somebody a couple of days ago said that I was cheating to make Nessa, my favourite singer win. I have voted once, and only once, and that was for nessa ~_~.

Well I hate Avril, because shes so melodramatic and childish, plus she slaughted "knocking on heavens door". And I have no idea who the other two are, then again, I don't normally like female singers, I'm more intresed in the music behind the song. However if you do want to know a good band, Lacuna Coil
