Learning the ropes...

I knew it was going to happen sometime, but now that it actually has, I'm heartbroken. Yep, Roy's retirement.
I'm a huge Avs fan, but I think it will be interesting to hear some different perspectives. I'm personally heartbroken, but what are other teams thinking right now? And what do you think is in store for the Avs? Who's their best bet as new goalie?
Again, please respond with your opinion on Roy retiring!

I too was devastated to hear the news the other night. Patrick is surely the best goalie that ever was! I will still be a die-hard Avs fan, though. With the depth of their talent, they should still remain one of the best teams in the NHL.

thank god he retired cause I hate him.
now, I have mad respect for the man
records and ability speak for themselves

but as an LA Kings fan...god I hate him
that guy stoned us every year.
so, I'm glad to see him go
plus, I hate his attitude
one of the worst from any pro athlete I've ever seen
