Fosse was just helping me ^_' Thanks! Also, if you have any rumours about it, you can post them here. A good website for HP rumours is:

Harry Potter Rumour Hall

(Yeah, I'm british). ^_^ Anyways, thanks for posting.

My copy is ordered and paid for. We have a huge boxful coming, which will be waiting in the School library until the time we are permitted to open it. Then all the children will have a special brunch. I can hardly wait...

Our local chain bookstores are having a midnight "Harry Potter Party", where you can pick up a reserved copy of the book and be in complete harmony with your fellow fanatics. I also have one on order from the UK for the UK version.

So is my library. You have to write some fan fiction and the three people who have the best entries win.

Hey come on, all true Harry Potter fans have to wait for the fifth book. Just one more thing, post a few rumours here. I've got one of my own and that is I think that there will be a relationship between Bill Weasely and Fleur Delacour. Send in your's!

If nobody knew that Tom Riddle became Voldemort (which i'm guessing they didnt because Hermione would have read it somewhere and told Harry when she saw the diary) then how did Olivander know that Voldemort's wand was the brother of Harry's wand? Because when he bought it he would still have been Tom wouldn't he?

That is true, how would Ollivander know? Maybe he's involved with Voldemort? Just maybe. We'll have to wait and see ^_~

What if that is for the 7th book and its about harry or someone dying. The chariots of light symbolize someone going to heaven (the light) and being brought there by chariots.

(By the way, there have been rumours that the 7th HP book is named Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light or Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch.)

Maybe that is true, but in a recent interview, Mrs. Rowling said that she has no idea what the titles for the next books would be, so I don't think that is very possible now. It may have been before that interview, though.

I got another: Harry definetly (according to this site ) will be the new Gryffindor Quidditch Team Captain. Harry is supposed to be protected on Privet Drive by magic, and maybe that magic is the Fidelus Charm.

etharrat as I understood you to post you said you ordered 4 copies of the book so why are you on the waiting list at your Library?. And correct me if I am wrong but didn't you say you also ordered one from Britain. I think you need to order a pair of glasses if your going to read all five of your copies and the sixth one from the library.
The reason I am 44th on the list is I have friends in high places. PF

I'm also waiting and I can't stand it!!!
As to the rumors... we've had a large rumors thread in here. I don't know how to put a link to it, but it's called "Any predictions about Harry Potter 5?" I posted loads of rumors there (and I knew many!), so I don't want to repeat them all here. I don't have the time, anyway... Check the thread, it's really fun!

1 American (from my library)
1 British (from Great Britan, no duh ^^)
1 Austrailia
1 Scotland (courtesy from my aunts)
1 American adult version
1 that my parents are getting. it's quite confusing

Scotland is in Great Britain, do they actually have a separate version for Scotland? Amazing.

I am amazed that we have any posts at FT today, I thought most members would be avidly reading a rather thick book.

Ace_Sodium, the book is 896 pages long. I doubt that somebody could read it in less than 12 hours. And plus, not many people would start reading it at 1 in the morning.

Ace-Sodium must have had one of those quoted on the BBC website...

Quote:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix reveals which character dies - a much-guarded secret - and will keep readers occupied with its 766 pages.

BBC News Online's Darren Waters wrote in one of the world's first reviews: "Rowling has succeeded in crafting a book that will disappoint no true Potter fan."

You appear to have a longer version, you must let us know which of the large number of editions you have that has the most pages. I am still not convinced that Scotland has its own edition, it seems very unlikely - perhaps you can provide a source for us which verifies this.
