I haven't been able to find the supporting story yet but I have just heard on the news that two of Saddam's daughters might seek political asylum in the UK, they wish to live in Leeds.

Probably want to get away from their father . . . and brothers . . . and all of the other violent idiots they have to live with.

Well, there aren't in a financially stable position (at least as per the BBC article).
They are under threat in Iraq
The wife was separated from her husband a long time ago
The daughters were made Widows by their father.

And they have committed (or been a part)of Human right abuses! But we will have to wait and see what Human rights were abused - until the next dossier comes OUT!

I know they wouldn't be welcomed in Leicester (one of the most tolerant places in the UK) I can't imagine any City in the UK giving them a welcome, most of the Iranian population are exiles/refugees/asylum seekers from the Saddam regime.

And their 10 children! I know we are supposed to be tolerant but (edited on the grounds of Family Planning and Child Benefit Payments ) - even so!!
If they have a case for Asylum that can stand up in law then they should be admitted - there should not be one law for one and another law for another REGARDLESS of the relationship to anyone.
