I just finished reading the 5th and am now dying to read the 6th. What I'm most curious about is who's the next to die?

It had a bunch of good rumours about the 5th book, so you can see if any of their predictions were correct.

Well, I've got a theory. My friends told me that Voldemort would die in the sixth book and Dumbledore would be the villain in the 7 th book. I scoffed at him but after I researched it, I found it could be true. Here it is : Dumbledore wants to kill Voldemort because he himself wants to be the greatest wizard of all time. So after defeating Voldemort, he goes on to try to become the greatest wizard of all time. Remember the "look of triumph " in Book 4. I guess Dumbledore knew that Voldemort could now be killed. So he could be the greatest wizard of all time.

Oh well, it was just a theory.

Interesting theory... but don't you think that Dumbles is simply too good to display such arrogance? Well, I don't know. I'm so happy that the system didn't log me off this time that I can't remember what I wanted to post! Aaargh!

Okay, I know this is a bit blood-thirsty, but who is going to be the next to die? I truly dought I am the only one who's wondering if it will be a good, or bad guy who dies next, I mean, like, Hermione or Malfoy?

Hermione, Ron, Harry, Draco, and Dumbledore are too important in the books to die. It's "impossible"

*NOTE* If one of those characters died in the 5th book, I have no way of knowing as I haven't read the book yet.

I disagree with you, a main character could easily die in the sixth book, whether they're good or bad, also a character that has little importance could also very easily die.

Please don't make ANY references to book five - thank you. Please also bear in mind that some people haven't read any of the books yet but will in future so no spoilers should be posted.

It is possible, but I think that the plot revolves around Harry, Hermione, and Ron, so it's kind of hard for any of them to die until the 7th book.

Also, J.K. stated in an interview that the 6th book will be smaller than the fifth. I hope she sticks to her word, because I don't want to take forever on the sixth book...the bad thing she said is that the 7th book will be huge.

How is it a bad thing if the 7th book is going to be long?? Since there probably won't be any Harry Potter books after that, I think it's the longer the better! More pages means more adventures!

The bad part is it'll also take more time and probably be harder to read. Well, it doesn't matter as long as the story is good!

I totally agree that none of the three main characters will die until the seventh book, if ever. The same goes for Voldemort and Dumbledore, but that still leaves a lot of characters to depart before the seventh book.

Mrs. Rowling said the rest of the books would have some couples in them. Here's some couplings I found, but I reviewed.

Ron x Hermione
In an interview, Rowling said that there is something going on between Ron and Hermione, but Ron doesn't know/understand it yet.

Ron x Fluer
Could happen, but probably not. Ron does like Fluer, but Fluer really doesn't notice him all that much.

I'm willing to bet Ron+Hermione, I mean, through all of the books they've been arguing about something or other, and that usually leads to romance. I never noticed all those twelves, but it was probably accidental, same with the flower names.

I am really rather weary of Harry Potter threads, as has been mentioned by others. I could also maybe add that I am sure there are thousands of websites devoted entirely to discussions of this sort. It doesn't really fit in here to go round and round the same subject ad nauseum. Feel free to disagree!
