PurpleFan Multiloquent Registered: Fri Oct 22 1999 Posts: 2249 Loc: New Westminster BC Canada	Buddy Hackett passed away last night at the age of 78. I liked him in the Love Bug Movies and he was a good guest on the Tonight Show when Johnny Carson hosted it. He also did alot of animation and was the voice of the Seagull in the Little Mermaid. Somewhere a lonely Little Volkswagon Bug is quietly shedding a tear. RIP Buddy Thanks for the laughs. _________________________ All Things Purple Are Relative!

His silly-putty face and hang-dog demeanor brought sympathy and a sense that his comedy was really serio-tragic.
