I am cursed. It seems all the new shows I like get cancelled. The one favorite of mine that lasted for even a little while was "Two Guys And A Girl",and it lasted only 4 or 5 years. Others include: Freakylinks: My all-time favorite. I have most of the shows on tape. Well, there were only 13 of them...I have 8. MDs: The only medical show I really enjoyed. I looked forward to watching it every week. Roswell: It had a solid run,and it'll be coming out on DVD soon so I'm not too bummed. Miracles: It had so much potential!! It was cancelled for low ratings. Well, what do you expect when ABC kept pre-empting it for war coverage or a Michael Jackson interview.(I kid you not) Viewers never knew when it was on! OK,now that I'm done ranting,it's your turn. Rant away!

Freakylinks MDs Homefront Second Chance (one of Matthew Perry's first TV roles.) Herman's Head Stark Raving Mad Misfits of Science Farscape Fantasy Island Cupid The Pretender Early Edition The Invisible Man
I was also very upset at the ending of the series Voyagers due to Eric Hexum's untimely death.

I'm going to have to say Popular and Sunset Beach - the campest shows on television. And then I shall have to hide in the corner for admitting to these...

There was a show on Fox in the mid-90s called Profit or Prophet that was about a successful sociopath who was raised by television and slept in a cardboard box. I think that was the only show I was disappointed to see cancelled since I was a kid. I watched a lot more TV when I was a kid. I didn't sleep in a box, though.

My advice to all, move to Hong Kong. The TV's stations here buy the cheapest old rubbish they can, and put it on at prime time. You would be amazed at the c*** we get here.

There was a very clever show on Fox last year called 'Undeclared', which lasted only one season. This was a shame too, since it was infinitely better than a lot of successful 'coming of age' shows like 'Felicity's Creek'. Okay, I know I am not the target audience member for these programs, anyway, but 'Undeclared' was amusing to viewers of all ages (well the ones I know anyway). It was really funny.

I miss "Roswell". I loved the cast of this show and the character interaction. Didn't matter to me how cheesy the story was or how many UFOs could fit through the plot holes, the onscreen chemistry between the cast brought me back every week. The storyline did improve much during the final season, I thought, and that made cancellation even more hard to accept.
My most favorite cancelled show has to be "Beauty & the Beast". Canned after two seasons when Linda Hamilton left the show. No, I refuse to accept the post-Linda ten or more episodes as a legitimate shortened season three (especially do not accept that terribly plotted two-hour illegitimate season three premiere). The show needed better writers, character development and a more sympathic network (phooey on CBS) but I loved it and I'm still ticked off that they cancelled it.

My favorite TV show. Three's Company, it wasn't cancelled it's still showing but Nick @ Nite (where it airs) now shows Rosseane(11pm) and Full Fouse (9pm) and now Three's Company is at 1 am, and I'm a person that wakes up early so I got to go to sleep early, but now since I'm in vacation at least I can see the one at 1 am. But it really bothers me that there's a few show that they repeat a lot so, put Three's Company earlier, why not?

Would it be strange for me to say one of my favorite cancelled shows was Fraggle Rock? It was one of my favorite shows as a child, and now I have a young daughter, and the only way she'll ever see it is if I spend upwards of $50 a piece for the videos, each of which only have 4 episodes.
More recently, I'll say Cybil. I loved that show. Darn it.

Fox seems to be popular with their cancellations . I was very unhappy to see a show called "John Doe" axed last year. I thought the premise was fascinating but I guess no one watched it (except me). Some of the inane shows Fox runs now, that are supposed hits, don't even partly measure up to the sensibilities of the shows they cancel. But at least TV is gracing us with yet another "Joe Millionaire". I'm dizzy with anticipation... .

Lothruin I am with you. I loved Fraggle Rock. And although I'm in my late 20's the nostalgia of a show i enjoyed as a youth definitely appeals to me.
I miss "Freaks and Geeks", and "Firefly", from Buffy producer Joss Whedon. I watched every episode and was sad when it didn't get picked up.

I liked the ABC soap 'Port Charles.' I can see why it was cancelled though.

My favorite was the irreverent British comedy, "The Young Ones". I have every available episode on video (only twelve). I just wish they had made more...

Wonderful! Another fan of "The Young Ones". Is there a quiz for that, I wonder...

I miss "Hope Island." It was a good family show.
One of the stars, "Nub", wrote to me! And, the production manager sent me a copy of their notebook (script, call sheets, background information, etc) and a prop from one of the shows. It's so cool to be watching the show and actually be holding the prop in my hand that's on the screen.
