As you're talking about rhyming...
While listening to strangers in the night, I just noticed the part 'Love is just a glance away, a warm embracing dance away' could be equally rhymed with 'and I just wet my pants today'. Thank you.

*Edited to explain:* The main reason this was included as it was actually a rare complete 3-syllable rhyme, ie glance/a/way - pants/to/day.

I knew it was unusual but just took me a while to realise why!

because a) it's a fact b) there was already a thread on rhyming and c) it means at least a few people will read it. I hope that passes your test.

Satguru,

Yes, your statement does rhyme, there is no denying that, however the posts in the thread A Few Useless Facts were specifically referring to particular words to which there were no known rhymes or indeed very difficult to rhyme. I'm afraid that doesn't quite fit the bill. 'Away' and 'today' aren't that difficult to rhyme.

Unfortunately it does not fall into the category of "I didn't know that", which is one of the reasons 'The Fact Factory' exists. People like to know new things that they can tuck away into a crevice for the next quiz night they attend. We all love to find out new things.

If you post something like that you can guarantee you will get some readers.
So get out there and find us something that will WOW! us all.

No problem, I can always dig some stuff up. But we can all do with a bit of a laugh as well sometimes.
