Now, who would study something like a snail's orgasm? Grad student or PHd candidate?

So snails are supposed to have the longest orgasm in the world? I myself wouldn't know. But it reminded me of the late Patricia Highsmith's story "The Snail-Watcher"(she's best known for "Strangers on a Train" and "The Talented Mr. Ripley") In it the protagonist becomes fascinated with the sexuality of snails and watches them reproduce.
