In the Boston Herald, I read that women wash their hands far more than men do. Seems we guys are so macho, we think hand-washing is sissy! We don't wash after going to public restrooms, touching pets, etc. What's your say on it? tjoeb};>

In the Food section of our paper yesterday they showed the results of a survey where everyone said they washed their hands after going to the bathroom but less than 6 in ten did. In public restrooms here, I'd say it was one in ten and that one is me. I've seen women come out, refresh their makeup, fuss with their hair and wander out without looking at the basin. I carry those pre moistened towlets to use on the doors in public restrooms. My husband says he hasn't noticed in the men's room but we have several dinners in the next week and he's going to satisfy my morbid curiousity.

(It really wasn't something I thought about until I started reminding my stepkids after they go and they think I'm a fusspot)
