William Clay Ford Jr., the chairman of the Ford Motor Company, is the great-grandson of Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company. William Clay Ford Jr. is also the great-grandson of Harvey Firestone, the founder of the Firestone Tire Company. Quite ironic considering Firestone tires failing on Ford Explorer vehicles.
