Ugh. I was devastated when I heard about this. I didn't even know he was sick. What a great dancer and, eventually, a great comic actor as well. I'll miss watching him "step lively", that's for sure.

I second that emotion. I was unaware of his illness and when i saw the news on the AP i was extremely saddened. I had seen him in the Mel Brooks "History of the World Part 1" and loved him.
