I'm a fan also, I've been reading the books this week, actually. Not on tv here at the moment and hasn't been for ages so perhaps they aren't doing the reruns anymore Oh well, the books will have to do me.

Backwards was great, love that one.

Yeah, "Backwards" is one of my favourite episodes, too! And "Quarantine"!

Has anybody heard anything more about the "Red Dwarf" movie that's supposed to be coming out?

They were waiting for Chris Barrie to finish filming Tomb Raider 2, but are now looking at locations for shooting the film. Check here for more details.

Huge fan of The Boys from the Dwarf, I think "Old Iron Balls" has to be my favourite character. Fave episode would either be "Gunmen of the Apocalypse" or "Justice Zone": Kryten's defence of Rimmer is sublime television.

Thrilled to hear about the movie by the way, had no idea !!!

My fav episode has to Future Echoes, The End or White Hole where everyone keeps having the same conversation and I quote "A white hole?" Kat asked,
"Yes a white Hole, Wheras a Black sucks things out of time a white hole replaces them" Kryten answered
"What the Smeg we gonna do then" asked Lister.

And the conversation continues repeating itself.

What is the episode where The Dwarf members (Not Rimmer) travel through Rimmers mind. And also who likes Kristine Kochanski.

I'll put my hand up to liking the original Kochanski played by Claire Grogan. Mind you, Claire Grogan was a big high school crush of mine...

Foo Fighting, it's called "Terraform" and that one's a classic too, "it's Rimmer's mind out there. Expect sickness!!"

I love this show, too. It's on in Oz at the moment but only on cable: UKTV on Foxtel.

My favourite is Terraform, if it's the one I think it is. Does it finish with the others riding a sort of sideshow alley ride through Rimmer's mind while the tribute song to Rimmer is playing and lots of little Goalpost Heads are marching around? If so, that's my favourite.

Jim, no, no, that's an episode in Series 7 whwre Lister is missing Rimmer (who has left by this point). The roller coaster ride is Kryten's attempt to remind Lister of what a smeg head Rimmer truly was and to get things back to normal . Thanks so much for remnding me of it, that's made my day. All day now I'll be singing in my head :

"Master of the wit and the repartee,
His command of space directives is uncanny,
How come he's such a genius? Don't ask me..
Ask Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer...."

Classic stuff
