UGLY MUG: We all know that an ugly mug is an ugly face. But how did the term mug get to be associated with a face?

Back in the 1700s, it was common practice to design drinking mugs that looked like ugly faces. I'm sure that you don't need any help understanding how the term evolved from there.

Now that you are all excited about that little useless fact, do you have any unusual mugs around your house? What was the strangest looking mug you've ever seen?

EWWWWWW!! Now that is one ugly mug! lol I was talking about drinking mugs but any ugly, funny, or strange looking mug that you wish to describe or post the image of will do. I have two mugs showing animals doing the 'wild thing' together. One shows hippo's doing it, and the other one shows rabbits doing it.
