Take whatever old schow that you like that has been off the air for some time and that you can watch in re-runs and re-cast it as a new show with actors/actresses that you like.
For example: Three's Company...
I think Jack Tripper could be Jim Carey, Janet could be Holly Hunter, and Chrissie could be Pamela Anderson.

I remember reading about a possible movie based on the Bewitched tv series with Nicole Kidman as Samantha and Jim Carrey as Darrin, so that's where I'd begin on the re-casting of that show.

For the remainder of the cast, I'd pick Anjelica Huston as Endora, Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Larry Tate, Marisa Tomei as Louise Tate, Carol Burnett as Aunt Clara, Mike Myers as Uncle Arthur, Harvey Korman as Abner Kravitz and Cloris Leachman as Gladys Kravitz.

Now I'm anxious to see it!

I love Bewitched! I think Nicole Kidman is a perfect pick (hey,alliteration!) for Samantha Stevens. They look so much alike it's scary. I think Jim Carrey is a pretty good casting choice...I guess,I mean I really can't think of another actor good for the role. But then again I'm not really trying. I do hope it becomes a movie!

Oh,and sorry that I didn't contribute anything but I had to comment on "Bewitched".

I'd like to re-cast "Friends" with Celine Dion playing all the parts. That would stop me watching it and I'd get more done in the evenings.
