Ice CreamThe average American eats about a ton (900 kg) of ice cream in his or her lifetime, enough ice cream to fill the backs of 3 pickup trucks! That's almost 6 gallons of ice cream a year, or roughly an ice cream cone every other day. Americans eat more ice cream than any other people in the world. Only Canadians, Australians, and New Zealanders eat even half as much as Americans do. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? I like pralines and cream or the good old fashion chocolate. Yummmmy!!

I love chocolate/vanilla twist with sprinkles. Now I'll be wanting 1 all night ! Oh hubby.......( maybe he will go get one for me) ------------------

Mackinaw Island Fudge is the local fav here in Michigan. I also like Moose Tracks and Rocky Road.

It's gotta be black forest - I just love those cherries. Also, NZ has hokey pokey, which (apart from sounding like something fun to do in the dark)is vanilla with crunchy bits. We (brothers and I) used to keep the hokey pokey in our cheeks until we finished eating the cone, then count the bits to see who had the most. Must have been before t.v.....

simple chocolate ice cream made well is pretty good "makes life worth livin" material. Ben and Jerry's, Hagen Das both spring to mind as high quality. mmmmmmmmm
I like "stuff" in my ice cream as well though. Fudge clusters, nuts like cashew, brazil nut, coffee/espresso with chocolate flakes. MMMMMMMMMMMMM
rocky road? cherries aint my bag I guess. If i want cherries, I could buy a jar of marischino (sp?) and add them to any of the above flavours.
=)
I like the ice cream with chocolate and caramel, encased in a graham-like cone. not on top of it, but in the cone. (brand name escapes me) Maybe they're a canadian thing..*shrug*

I think Ben and Jerry's just came out with a new flavor for the Oscars, does anyone know what the name of it is? Hey, PinCream what time are you going to open up the Ice Cream Parlor in here? O I love Strawberry Ice Cream. Also, in India we have Mango Ice Cream which is absolutely awesome.... especially in summer when mangoes are in season. Third comes Pralines and Cream. yummmmmmmmmmmmm.
