Saturday - England Vs South Africa, England Vs France and England Vs Macedonia (Cricket(Test), Rugby Union(Friendly!), Soccer(Qualifier game) - shows my preferences)
BUT ALL AT THE SAME TIME on TV button finger fatigue! but delighted with all the results (and after Freddies exploits today could be three wins out of three

you shoulda seen me here in the States.

I had five gridiron football games
a US women's soccer match against Mexico
a NASCAR race, an IRL race
The Dodgers at Denver
Andy Roddick in the US Open Final
and the Bell Canadian Open

it was nuts
I don't think I moved from the front of my TV all day.

Sort of a similar situation with me, except I was in my local watching the football on the big screen, cricket was on another, and the rugby was on the others! I still have a sore neck from twisting and turning.

I know that non-sports lovers would be quite disgusted with this thread, but I am just a tad jealous- no Pay TV for me... Even so, we see Aussie Rules, Rugby League, soccer, and motor racing on 'normal' TV here quite regularly. It was quite a spooky feeling watching cricket (Tests V Bangladesh) on one channel, and football on the other, knowing that they were both being played in Australia!

Just Have to reply - England beat South Africa to tie the series (rephrase that "THRASHED South Africa by 9 wickets") despite being nearly 400 for 2 behind after the first day!
THRASHED France with the nearly 1st 15!

and beat Macedonia 2 -1 perhaps someone else might like to comment on that one!

Down with Grame Smith !! If Shaun Pollock, was the captain, the result would have been reversed !!

Angie, I don't like to get personal on team sports , England outplayed South Africa in that game (the next time could be the exact oppoisite!). I'd like to congratulate both teams on a very sporting contest - there were verbal exchanges in the middle of the pitch but no more than I would have expected in a local cricket match "You lucky B**, How did you miss that? etcc" A good series and a draw was the right result.

Guess you're right. But I was desparately rooting for South Africa ? Now it's time to focus on the India and New Zealand series at home, here in India. Maybe I can go watch a Test at the stadium .
