I think I read somewhere that the poster widely used in the United States showing Uncle Sam saying "I Need You" actually was based on a similar English poster used World War I. Can anyone point me to a web link about this, preferably one with an image of the English poster?

It was Lord Kitchener on the original poster. I am looking for a link.
OK
This site has it , with many other bits of WW1 information
If you scroll down on the left side of this page, you reach "posters"and it is there (called 'Your Country needs you')
