They were saying on Sky Sports News that he could possibly get away with a 6 month ban, if this was a United player the FA would make sure he'd never play again!

As he isn't English and doesn't play for Manchester United Sepp Blatter won't feel the need to get involved.

I just hope Chelsea do the right thing and support Mutu. Look at the careers Tony Adams, Paul Merson and Ray Parlour had after misdemeanours and support from the club. Look at the support Jan Molby got when he was sent to prison in the late 80s, he came back fitter leaner and a champion, Mutu screwed up yes, he also knew he would be caught, so it was better to fess up and take the punishment on the chin..lets just hope we dont get a Bosnich scenario...and lets also remember the Rio situation was totally different.

As the last few posts are mainly concentrated on what the glorious, and I term that very loosely, FIFA President says and does, here's another of his.

Yep, it's another Manchester United player, and this time it's Wayne Rooney. Blatter has stated that his manager 'should get tough with him'. Sir Alex Ferguson's response was that Blatter should focus on the bigger problems in world football, and I couldn't agree more.

Blatter also accuses Premiership clubs of fielding weakened teams, and has said that a West Bromwich Albion official has told him that when they play the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, or United, they would not field their best team. Obviously the club have denied this, and have stated that nobody has spoken to Blatter in the past year, let alone in the past week.

Stay tuned for more Blatterisms, because you can guarantee there will be more, as long as he's in power!
