Mrs. Serendipity and I have just spent a most enjoyable week
in the company of Exit10. This lovely lady has brightened our
lives immeasurably and we've had a lot of fun in each other's
company. What I believe will be an enduring friendship has
been forged this week. We were given the opportunity to offer
hospitality to Exit10 via a series of "getting to know you"
personal messages through FunTrivia. Have any other members had a similar experience to ours? :

Mrs TW and myself were pleased to meet with up Sue943 and Ren33, (otherwise known as Sara and Sue, or Sue and Sara) a while back. We were on holiday in Sue's neck of the woods. Sara was also visiting.

They visited our hotel. It was a hot afternoon and we sat on the terrace passing the time of day over light refreshments provided by the hotel manager. They are both really nice people and we are glad we made our presence on the island known. We hope to repeat the meeting next time we are in Jersey.

You make sure that you do let me know when you are back, I really enjoyed meeting the pair of you.

As Martin has just said, Sara was staying with me, on a flying visit from Hong Kong - that was two visits from her in a year, she is obviously a sucker for punishment! I will leave it to her to tell you who else she has met from on here.

Yes, I have had two beautiful , wonderful holidays at Sue's place in Jersey , and her hospitality has to be seen to be believed. We get on well, and have a real laugh. Sue treated me to a day trip to St Malo last summer. That was lovely. Martin and Lynn are delightful people, as you can imagine. We had a most enjoyable afternoon.
I spent the summer before last going to Canada, and then on to UK. Two weeks in New Westminster,BC with Bonnie and Chuck (Purple Fan and her husband, to you). Again, their hospitality was unbelievable. We laughed, ate, sightsaw, shopped, ate , laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the two lovely weeks. Thanks all , so much.
Lastly (and very briefly. I met Sypher as he whizzed through HK on his way from Australia. We managed to have a quick shop and look at some sights. I also had lunch with him in London when I was there.
Funtrivia people are fun!

I was thinking we ought to have an informal FunTrivia get together someday, somewhere. At least for North American folks at least

Terry - how about we do it at the Las Vegas Star Trek convention next July? (Hey, I thought 'why not kill two birds with one stone!')

What a great idea Terry - I might even get to meet Senior Moments and Norwich but alas I'm with Serendipity it's a lottery win or stay at home and I know a lot of others who are confined to base for one reason or another. Still I can dream on for that FT World Tour.
