I realise that I am very much in the minority... but has anyone noticed the phenomenal rise of the Ipswich lads up the First Div table? We were dead last a few weeks back , now we are sixth (above the dreaded Norwich!). We can only continue to flourish at this rate. Let's hear it for the TB's! (and whatever has happened to Leicester??)

Well ren I'm not a Tractor Boy fan (hence the username) but my brother is and has been for years so I sort of follow thier progress . After a poor start to the season they've picked up well. The problem, it seems, for Div 1 sides when they win promotion is staying up for any length of time.Maybe you should entice your legendary Manager back from the clutches of the Magpies, but sadly we (or my brother at least) can only dream of past glories.
I will just ask you to cheer on the Blues to stop the Championship going to Highbury or Old Trafford. He He !

Oh dear...I will say this for the second time in my lifetime... One man's money can win a League, yes. But can it hold? No. Look at Blackburn (I live there), and look at what Jack Walker did for that club. He loved the club, and ploughed millions into it. (I even worked for his company at one point) Shearer, Sutton, et al., came. Look at them now. Is Abramovich a Chelski fan? Nope. Will he stay around if they don't win the League? Nope.
Look no further than the usual suspects to win the League...

I dont like the fact we have bought many over priced players (prices blown up as soon as they saw Abramovich had a few bob ) like a greedy child in a sweet shop butt hey if someone wants to throw money at us then well take it .Blackburn Rovers is completely different cos they had never been able to attract the BIG names from abroad with or without the money, Real Madrid et al have done as well as they have because of a constant stream of money over the years .
. Chelsea however will be able to attract big names even without Romans money ,so there is no comparison.Maybe Man U will retain the title ( I would certainly hope that what ever happens we both do better than those 'orrible gooners) but I would suggest you offload the most expensive mistake Ferguson has ever made (buying Ferdinand ) short of getting rid of Stam.
As for us, surely your not afraid of a bit of competition instead of a two horse race between you and Arsenal, that would just make our Premiereship look as predictable as Celtic/Rangers ,and look how dull that is !
Lets just look forward to a good season and a successful season for British teams in Europe.
