I tried everything I know to transfer Hindi, Gujurati and other Indian scripts onto FT (to say Happy Divali) is it possible to do it, bearing in mind that if there's the slightest little mark,or discrepancy, on the script, it can change the meaning of the script with catastrophic consequences).

PS if anyone would like my Divali greetings I can scan and send them! (BY e-mail!)

If it had been possible I'm sure you would have hit upon the method. I'd think possibly the forum format doesn't cater for it though. One way you could place the wish is to upload a jpeg or gif image of it to the Internet. The URL of where it is could then be placed in a post. Not quite the same as text in a post but perhaps a reasonable compromise.
