This Halloween sky-watchers will get a special treat -- one that comes only once every 19 years: a Full Moon to light the way of ghosts and goblins everywhere.

And, as it's the second Full Moon for October (the first was on October 2), it's a Blue Moon as well. (For sky-watchers in Eastern Canada and the United States the Moon will be full on the other side of midnight, still on Halloween night, but technically it will be November 1.)

This will be a night to remember: The Moon will look like a pumpkin early in the evening and will shine bright-white at midnight, flanked by seven sisters.

Read all about it at renowned astronomer Jack Horkheimer's site and don't forget to check out the sky above you as you look for spooky
creatures around you!
